Dubai real estate developer Union Properties has officially broken ground on Mirdad, its AED2bn ($544m) flagship development in Motor City, marking the company’s second landmark project in the area.

Comprising four elegantly designed towers, Mirdad reflects Union Properties’ vision for modern, connected and sustainable living that fosters a strong sense of community.

Mirdad in Dubai Motor City

Spanning 356,931sq ft., Mirdad will deliver 1,087 residential units, including a limited number of luxury lofts and elegantly styled apartments designed to maximise natural light, panoramic views and smart layouts.

Residents will also benefit from access to more than 26 curated indoor and outdoor amenities, supporting a holistic lifestyle experience.

The development will integrate smart building technologies, landscaped green spaces and EV charging infrastructure, with 647 parking spaces equipped with chargers out of a total 1,294 parking spaces.

Energy-efficient facades and materials will further support the project’s sustainability objectives.

Enabling works for Mirdad include the excavation of 446,000 cubic metres of soil and the construction of a 716-metre-long shoring boundary, laying the foundation for the next phase of construction.

The project is strategically located in the heart of Motor City, close to established retail and leisure destinations and two upcoming public park developments.

Mirdad is also positioned between Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai International Airport, enhancing its appeal for residents and investors seeking urban connectivity, lifestyle value and long-term returns.

Scheduled for completion in Q4 2028, Mirdad is guided by a philosophy of architectural excellence and sustainable design, reinforcing Union Properties’ ongoing commitment to supporting Dubai’s vision for future-ready, liveable communities.
